As a new year starts I can look back on 2023 as a year of wonderful collaborations of music new (to me) and old favourites. Thank you to New Works Calgary for the opportunity to perform two world premieres with Ensemble Resonance in Canada and to the London Chamber Music Society for my return appearance in a performance of Dvorak and Amy Beach Chamber songs with Sholto Kynoch and the Phoenix Trio in the glorious Kings Place in London. My summer included my 15th year singing West End hits with the Scarborough Spa Orchestra.

Recent years were a challenging time for everyone in the performing arts but I was very happy that some of my rescheduled performances of plays and concerts actually went ahead. It was not easy singing a whole concert of Musical Theatre songs in a mask but it can be done! There are some short video extracts and informal photographs on my open Facebook page; Michelle Todd Soprano to prove that it really did happen.
